Join St. Gabriel's Drama Club to build confidence, creativity, and friendships through theatre. Members take part in workshops, performances, and SYF competitions.
Beliefs & Outcomes
The Drama Club nurtures confident, creative performers who express meaningful ideas through the arts. Through acting, movement and ensemble work, members develop self-expression, teamwork and stagecraft.
In 2026, the club welcomed a renowned Myanmar marionette troupe led by master puppeteer Mr Htwee. Members enjoyed a nine-part cultural performance featuring traditional music, dance and symbolic props before gaining hands-on experience in controlling wooden marionettes with professional tools and materials.
In Term Three, the club reached the finals of the Human Values Drama Festival, organised by the Sri Sathya Sai Global Organisation Singapore. Their thought-provoking performance explored honesty through drama and a traditional dance ensemble, captivating the audience and earning praise from the judges. This achievement reflected their creativity, commitment and teamwork.
