Beliefs & Outcomes
In 2026, the 2006 Southern Cross Scout Unit continued its legacy by attaining the Frank Cooper Sands Award across all three sections: Scout, Venture and Rover. Alexander Nadeem, Kaeden Tan, Joel Leong, Pierson Png, Ethan Leong and Jaden Daniel received the Chief Scout’s Award for exemplary leadership and service.
Members served as Service Scouts at major national events, including Chingay 2026 and the Istana Open Houses. Five Scouts also marched proudly with the Scout Contingent at the SG61 National Day Parade.
In July, the Unit hosted its 68th Annual Campfire, featuring a World Cup theme that celebrated creativity and teamwork. Guided by Ms Cheong Li Yun, the Scouts also led the Combined Uniformed Groups Passing-Out Parade for the first time.
